Southcoast Hospitals Group has earned global recognition on Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals for seven consecutive years.

This 3-star rating, which denotes the highest level of quality, places Southcoast Health among the best programs in the United States and Canada. Only five other hospitals across the region have earned this esteemed designation, and Southcoast Health is the only non-academic community hospital in Massachusetts on the list.

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) recognized Southcoast Health Heart and Vascular at Charlton Memorial Hospital with the ACC Accreditation Services Transcatheter Valve Base Certification. Hospital Memorial de Charlton is one of just six hospitals in the New England region, and only the second hospital in Massachusetts, to receive this prestigious certification.

Southcoast Health’s Radiation Oncology program was awarded a three-year reaccreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR). This extends the program’s recognition as an ACR Radiation Oncology Accredited Facility at both the Fall River and Fairhaven Cuidados de saúde contra o cancro em Southcoast locations.
