Interpreter Services

Effective communication is vital to providing quality healthcare. Southcoast Health offers interpreter services to assist patients who have limited English proficiency or are deaf or hard of hearing. These services are provided at no cost to the patient. To access interpreter services, please inform a member of your healthcare team or call 508-973-8409.

Community Wellness Program

Our Community Wellness Program aims to break down traditional barriers to care by bringing health education, vaccinations, immunizations, and health screenings directly to underserved and vulnerable populations across the region. This program enhances accessibility through mobile capabilities and supports Southcoast’s ongoing population health initiatives.

Street Outreach Initiative

As part of our Community Wellness Program, the Street Outreach initiative provides direct outreach to individuals who are homeless or affected by substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Services include wound care, psychosocial support, and referrals for treatment, aiming to improve access to care for those facing complex challenges.

Southcoast Health at Home

Recognizing that some patients may face challenges visiting our facilities, Southcoast Health at Home offers home health care services across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This ensures that patients can receive necessary care in the comfort of their homes.

Inclusive Environment

Southcoast Health actively fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is reflected in our policies, practices, and the establishment of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that support various communities, including those with disabilities.
